I don’t know what to believe anymore. Drew is sweet, sexy, and hiding way more secrets than I am. All I know is, I want to be there for him—permanently.

I found One Week Girlfriend to be fun and quick read. After hearing some great reviews, I decided to pick it up one day, and before I knew it, I was halfway done!
I really liked the two main characters, Drew and Fable. Fable had been dealt a crappy hand in life, but she did her best to live with what she was given. She worked full time and was pretty much a parent to her teenage brother. Unfortunately she also had reputation amongst the college guys.
Drew was such a great guy. He took school and football very seriously, and didn't allow himself much time for anything else. He came off as kind of tough at first, so I was really happy to get to know him through Fable, and to see that there was this sweet, vulnerable guy underneath.
Early in the book, I had a pretty good hunch as to what was really going down with Drew. This didn't keep me from getting sucked into the story or the dialogue, though. It was a little insta-lovey for me, though. I was surprised how quickly (a week?) Drew would allow someone passed those strong walls he built around his heart.
I was actually pleased that the ending was left open a little. Had it not, I don't think the story would have been believable for me. Both characters have some issues that they really need to confront and work on. I know I'll be cheering them both on.

I love that the ending felt natural and genuine. It sounds like a fun read!
